Make sure you are booting the software from another hard drive onto the target drive you wish to flash. Try changing the sata interface to AHCI, and try a right-click ‘run as administrator.’

Patriot Memory USB Flash drives should be complete plug and play (with the exception of Windows 98 SE). You should be able to find the USB drivers for your motherboard on a cd/dvd that came with your system or at your motherboard manufacturer’s website under a support/download section. Look for chipset drivers.
